Step 1: Ordering a new Land Rover Key (usually less than 1 hour)

Only the vehicle’s owner, or someone authorized by the vehicle’s owner, can order a replacement Land Rover Key from a Land Rover dealer. In order to do so, we must require proof of identity and vehicle ownership with original documents, as detailed below.

If you are the current owner of the vehicle, please bring:

? Driver’s license with photo or passport.
? The vehicle’s current state registration, title or any ownership document accepted by the DMV to issue a title.

If you are an authorized representative, please bring:

? The vehicle’s current registration, title or any ownership document accepted by the DMV to issue a title.
? Authorized representative’s driver’s license with photo or passport.
? An original document authorizing the representative to act on behalf of the vehicle owner.
? Original or photocopy of the vehicle owner’s driver’s license with photo or passport.

Land Rover KeyIf all of the vehicle keys are missing, two new Land Rover Keys must be ordered.

Step 2: Activation/Deactivation (usually less than 3 hours)

When the new Land Rover Key arrives, Baker Motor Company is required to program the new key, and deactivate any missing keys to ensure they won’t be used in the theft of the vehicle. This process requires that all remaining Land Rover Keys are available to our technicians so they will not be deactivated. When everything is complete we will document and register the changes with Land Rover USA.

An authorized representative may be:
1. A private citizen or family member acting on behalf of the owner
2. Independent workshop acting on behalf of their customer
3. An employee acting on behalf of their employer
4. A government official acting on behalf of their agency or department
5. An association member acting on behalf of their association.

Parts and Accessories Warranty

A 12 month warranty is provided with Land Rover Genuine Parts. This covers the cost of any parts that need replacement or are used in the repair of your Land Rover. All repairs are carried out in a Land Rover Approved Service Centre using Land Rover Genuine Parts.

Accessories fitted to a new vehicle

Land Rover genuine parts and Accessories have been designed specifically to comply with our high standards of safety and reliability. They provide the best solution for all service and maintenance needs. In addition, any genuine part or accessory that is purchased or provided by a Land Rover Approved Service Centre or dealer will be covered by warranty.

Every Land Rover Approved Accessory comes with a 12 month warranty. Accessories fitted within one month or 1,000 miles (whichever occurs first) of the handover of a new Land Rover will be covered by the vehicle warranty.
